TreatmentsAll-On-6

All-On-6

All-on-6 is a full-arch dental implant treatment used to replace all teeth in the upper or lower jaw. Six dental implants are placed in one jaw to support a fixed full-arch bridge. The restoration is designed to replace the missing teeth and provide stable support for speaking, smiling and chewing. If both jaws require treatment, All-on-6 can be planned separately for the upper and lower arch.

Treatment Description

Implant systems we use

At Medic Antalya, the implant system is selected according to the patient’s bone condition, treatment plan and clinical requirements.

Who may be suitable for All-on-6?

All-on-6 may be considered for patients who have lost all or most of their teeth in one jaw or whose remaining teeth cannot be predictably restored.

Missing all teeth in one jaw

For patients with a completely edentulous upper or lower jaw.

Most remaining teeth cannot be saved

When the existing teeth have severe decay, mobility, fractures or advanced periodontal damage.

Difficulty wearing removable dentures

For patients looking for a fixed alternative to traditional removable dentures.

Sufficient bone or suitable for additional procedures

Adequate bone is needed to support the implants. Some patients may require bone grafting or another implant approach.

Suitable general health

Medical history, medications, smoking and healing capacity must be assessed before treatment.

Suitability can only be confirmed after a clinical examination and 3D imaging.

In an All-on-6 treatment, six implants are used to support one complete dental arch.

This may be:

  • six implants in the upper jaw;
  • six implants in the lower jaw;
  • or twelve implants in total when both jaws are treated.

Benefits of a fixed full-arch restoration

Fixed in place

The bridge is secured to the implants and is not removed by the patient like a traditional denture.

Improved stability

Implants provide stable support for the full dental arch.

Restored chewing function

The restoration can improve the ability to chew a wider variety of foods.

Natural-looking smile

The size, shape and colour of the teeth are planned according to the patient’s face, bite and smile.

Support for facial appearance

Replacing missing teeth can help restore lip and facial support, depending on the individual case.

Easier daily confidence

A fixed restoration can reduce concerns about movement associated with removable dentures.

Will I have teeth during the healing period?

In many cases, temporary teeth can be provided after implant placement.
A fixed temporary bridge is only possible when the implants achieve sufficient primary stability and the bone and bite conditions are suitable.
If immediate fixed teeth are not clinically recommended, your dentist will discuss an alternative temporary option with you.

Do I need bone grafting?

Not every All-on-6 patient requires bone grafting.
The need for additional bone procedures depends on the amount, quality and location of the available jawbone.
Your dentist will assess this using 3D imaging and recommend the safest treatment approach for your anatomy.
In some cases, an alternative implant position, short implants or a different full-arch solution may be considered.

Your final full-arch bridge
The final bridge is individually designed according to your bite, facial features, gum position and treatment requirements.
The restoration material will be selected and explained as part of your personalised treatment plan.
